
Journal History
In the mid-2018, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine registered a periodical scientific publishing ‒ the open-access journal Agrology, which has been registered internationally, serial numbers 2617-6106 (print); 2617-6114 (online). The contract with CrossRef for registration of DOI was signed. The journal uses the most objective, independent evaluation of the material ‒ double-blind review.
The editorial policy of Agrology is based on the principles of objectivity and impartiality in the selection of articles for the purpose of their publication, the high quality of submitted materials.
Agrology was created on the basis of the scientific journal News of Dnipropetrovsk State Agrarian University (later Agrarian and Economic). The News had been published since 1998 and was for 20 years included in the list of professional publications in agricultural, technical, economic and veterinary sciences. The journal materials were indexed in the International Scientometric Databases. The latest issue of the News of the Dnipropetrovsk State Agrarian University was № 1‒2 (47), 2018.
In different years, the chief editors of News of the Dnepropetrovsk State Agrarian University were Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Academician of the UAAS Mykola Trokhymovych Masiuk; Professor, Academician of the UEAS Volodymyr Illich Shemavnov; Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Professor Anatolii Stepanovych Kobets.
The Academic Council of the Dnipro State Agrarian and Economic University approved the Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Mykola Kharytonov as the editor-in-chief of Agrology.
